Taking each term of the matrix as a paragraph, read right to left, top to bottom, yields the following statement, part of what I call the Preface to the Ceremony of Original Innocence:

A man, it is true, endued with more lively sensibility, more enthusiasm and tenderness and tenderness, the human bio-computer is capable of sustaining its molecular structure in a state of subconsciousness, who has a greater knowledge of human nature, and a more comprehensive soul,as several of its major circuits are connected, resulting in a sufficient supply of electromagnetic input, than are supposed to be common among mankind; a man pleased with his own passions and volitions, rendering the electromagnetic field at a density less resonant with a reality stabilized by fear.

This ceremony is a reprehensible system, and who rejoices more than other men in the spirit of life that is in him; holonomically muted with each individual's point of soul evolution, delighting to contemplate similar volitions and passions as manifested in the goings-on of the Universe, organically squandered by their capacity for change. Through the testing procedure of kinesiology before and after the ceremony, and habitually impelled to create them where he does not find them, you will see without a shadow of a doubt that where there was once strength there is now weakness.

But whatever portion of this faculty we must suppose even the greatest Poet to possess, the energy exits and ends its journey through the circuitry passing through the endocrine system. There cannot be a doubt that the language which it will suggest to him, where it weakens and stifles the production of chemicals and neurochemicals, must in liveliness and truth, fall short of that which is uttered by men in real life. These centers, under the actual pressures of those passions, neither act as transducers of this energy nor step it down into absorbable data, certain shadows of which the Poet thus produces, or feels to be produced, in himself.

I have said that Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings; the relationship between the circuitry, the glands, the centers, the DNA and the point of soul evolution is an impeccably fixed and rigid one, it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility, organically wasted by each individual's capacity for change: the emotion is contemplated till, by a species of reaction, the tranquility gradually disappears. Thus the Human bio-circuitry comes out of joint with the Earth and stars harmoniously, and an emotion, kindred to that which was before the subject of contemplation, is gradually produced, finally unable to respond fully and appropriately to celestial influences,and does itself actually exist in the mind through historically gathered data, not by direct assimilation of starlight.
