Tenure Track Position Search: African-American Literature

African-American Literature

We invite applications in African American literary studies. Although we have a special interest in the pre-1900 period, all strong candidates will be considered. We expect that successful candidates will contribute to new collaborative research and teaching initiatives within the department and that their interests will intersect with one or more of our departmental concerns with historicity and historical studies, contemporary theory and culture, and the public humanities.

The department is especially interested in candidates who will enhance the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service.
