Examines the science fiction of Ted Chiang, winner of multiple Hugo Awards. Through a careful study of his short stories, essays, and interviews, we will examine techniques of storytelling and pressing philosophical questions related to technology, free will, AI, ethics, nonhuman perspectives, and time.
